Organised by Channels Exhibitions, the exhibition has attracted an estimated 5,000 trade visitors. Nearly 70 per cent of the trade visitors to the show are from outside the UAE, organisers said.

In his comments, Mr Justin Boutros, Managing Director of Channels Exhibitions, said:
'We are very happy with the response generated at the show. The gifts and premium market has grown exponentially - it is several million dollars per year in corporate gifts alone. With such strong participation from Europe, Lebanon and the Indian subcontinent, we are happy the Gifts & Premium - Dubai has become the melting pot for new business opportunities.'
Expressing satisfaction at the business leads generated, Mr Kamal Omar from Laser Gallery, which produces high quality folders, diaries, corporate gifts and giftware, said: 'I have seen exceptional traffic at this show, similar to the big giftware show in Germany. I am surprised at the amount of quality enquiries that I have had so far. I receive 100 genuine enquiries with 17 confirmed signed orders within hours of the opening of the show. I have met buyers from the UAE, Qatar and Saudi and I will definitely be back next year - this is a highly successful show for my business.'
Similar views were conveyed by Mujahed Abdulla from Khat Al Ibda, which is into VIP and executive giftware boxes and presentation cases. He said: 'The quality of buyers is amazing and we have already booked our stand for the next year. I have received business leads from many buyers representing KSA, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This show is proving to be very successful and I have already received confirmed orders.'
Paresh Suchak from Suchak & Suchak, which imports fine writing equipment, said: 'We have received very positive enquires and the buyers, mainly from Saudi Arabia and Dubai, have shown real interest in products and have concluded several confirmed orders within the first few hours of the show.'
On the other hand, Arun Gopal from Tejasvi Exports, which deals in leather and steel products for corporate gifts, said: 'We are finding it difficult to manage the volume of visitors at our stand, it is phenomenal. I have already concluded several major bulk orders for his products and we have confirmed our participation for the 2008 show.'
