Versar, Inc. awarded $21.2m in additional Iraq construction management and quality assistance work

Versar, Inc.) today announced that the U.S. Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) awarded Versar a $19.8m task order modification for continued Construction Management and Quality Assurance operations in Iraq.

Versar was also awarded a new task
order for $1.4m worth of work supporting AFCEE's Foreign Military Sales (FMS) construction management and quality assurance work. These task orders will fund Versar's international operations, VIAP, to provide engineering support, construction management and quality assurance operations in Iraq through August 2008.

VIAP provides construction management, quality assurance, engineering studies, feasibility and site assessments for well over 100 project sites throughout Iraq. VIAP also provides technical training and certification to improve the quality of projects and increase the level of
expertise of engineers within Iraq.

Dr. Ted Prociv, President and CEO of Versar said,
