The project, to be implemented on phases, will provide the school's administration and functional staff with user friendly interfaces to effectively run and manage their daily operations using IT as an enabler.
The objectives of the project are to e-enable the internal and external operations of ASG and provide a seamless streamlined integration of functions. This would in-turn leverage the administration performance of the school up to its best practices.
'ASG thinks beyond mere education. Through our rigorous programs, we strive to present our institution as The School of Choice. The driving spirit of ASG is about oneness and connectedness with the whole world. That's why a full automation scenario with an advanced e-schooling environment is on the top of our priorities', said Haifa Najjar, Director General at The Ahliyyah School for Girls.
The first phase of the project, which was immediately kicked off upon the signing of the contract, includes the implementation of the Registration and Fees Management modules within DeniaSchool, in addition to core modules within ESKADENIA Business Manager; the Financial Management modules (General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets), and the Human Resources (HR) Management modules (Personnel, Payroll, and Time Attendance).
The systems also provide comprehensive reporting capabilities with accurate up-to-date details concerning all the school's functionalities. Reports can be retrieved according to users' privileges and authorisation, as defined by the system's administrator.
The next two phases of the project will include the implementation of cutting-edge modules within DeniaSchool; Timetable, Fleet (Buses), Cafeteria, and Inventory Management systems.
The systems are built on the latest Microsoft.NET technology and platforms, applying an Object Oriented approach that concentrates on the business needs rather than the technical limitations embedded in some technologies. An Extreme Programming approach is also used, shortening lead time, lowering costs, and meeting customers' quality standards and expectations. Accordingly, and due to the applied development methodology, all modules can fully and easily integrate with any other e-school management modules.
'We feel good about joining hands and partnering with ESKADENIA Software for many reasons; this leading software vendor shares with us many of our core values; they are eager about excellence and quality services, and very passionate about their work', added Ms Najjar.
'We are very proud to have been selected by the Ahliyyah School as their IT supplier. This automation aims at reaching a total integrated solution that would connect the whole school environment, reduce time and costs, and increase the school's edge and customer satisfaction', said Doha Abdelkhaleq, Executive Director and Co-Founder at ESKADENIA Software.
