IHF workshops highlight latest housekeeping trends

During the 7th International Hospitality Forum that will take place at Amman Exhibitions Park from 30 October to 1 November, 3 training workshops will be held by Hospitality & Hotels Consultancy, H&H Concept a division under Farid Batshon & Co. llc targeted at the hospitality industry, to highlight the latest trends and techniques in Housekeeping.

'We are very keen to enhance our partnership in the hospitality industry and mainly with the housekeeping and laundry departments, by adding a new training dimension in order to raise awareness and understanding of several important topics related to this important filed', commented Mr. Kamal Batshon, Assistant General Manager, Hotels & Hospitality Concept.

Executive Housekeeper at Le Meridian Amman hotel, Miss Nimet Katircioglu will tackle the issue of 'Leading The Staff to Succession', Miss Barbara Seller, Executive Housekeeper Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel & Towers will discuss 'Budgeting & Par', while Mr. Mohammad Diab, Laundry Manager Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel & Towers, will the discus more technical issues related to 'The Nature of Fibres'. The workshops, which are managed by Trainedge, a local training and management consultancy firm, will be held during IHF at sand D1.

The 3-day event features several tourism and hospitality an international trade exhibition of products and services needed for hotels, restaurants and other similar establishments; Table Setting Competition running under a 'Christmas Dinner' theme; Bartenders' Competition; Bed-Making Competition; Seminars, workshops, press conferences and several other special events and award ceremonies.
