The new e-services solution, known as e-Top up 'n Go, combines a loyalty scheme, a store payment (debit) card and a mobile services card and is set to transform the way customers access their telecommunications needs.

"This is a great opportunity to provide our customers with further ease when it comes to telecommunication and media entertainment services. We are dedicated to delivering the best products and services as we continue to seek new and innovative ways to meet customer needs,"

commented Alan Sinfield, CEO of Starlink.

The card provides a way for non credit card holders to take advantage of the new mobile phone recharge options and gives customers access to secure online shopping and convenient in-store shopping. As a loyalty card, customers can earn and redeem points on all purchases from Starlink outlets. Customers can also purchase and upload "points" onto the card, turning it into a store debit facility which can then be used to buy online or in-store.

"Loyalty schemes are traditionally a way to get customers to keep buying your products. What we are doing here is different. We are linking customer loyalty with customer satisfaction and giving our customers a real reason to choose Starlink. This card is not just about points; it is about benefits and services that are of great value to our customers," said Mr. Sinfield.

e-Top up 'n Go also works as a mobile top-up card that allows customers to buy Hala refill over the air, either by "SMS" or "Swipe 'n Go" at Starlink outlets. This over-the-air (OTA) facility is a key feature of the Starlink e-services offering and reinforces Starlink's position as a leader in an industry where services are expected to be increasingly provided by electronic means.

"Over-the-air top up is the future of mobile services and we are pleased to be able to lead this change with e-Top up 'n Go. Our ability to be at the forefront of the e-services revolution adds significant value for our customers who will, in turn, have fast access to the very best products and services", Mr. Sinfield concluded.

Starlink's operations are based on a one-stop shop concept for telecoms products and services. e-Top up 'n Go significantly enhances this concept by taking it outside of the shop and into the personal world of the customer, providing easy, direct access to secure online shopping, OTA mobile recharge, and loyalty points on purchases - all through one easy-to-use card.
