Zovinar Mananian appointed Director of Rooms Operations at the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa

Philip Papadopoulos, the General Manager of the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Zovinar Mananian as the new Director of Rooms Operations at the Jordan Valley Marriott effective October 1st, 2007.

Marriott culture encourages diversity and supports women in such key positions. This creates a healthy work environment with equal opportunities to both men and women. The Jordan Valley Marriott's management is excited to have such a strong female figure in their senior management team. She is a veteran hotelier, with 17 years of experience with Marriott hotels. She comes with a solid background in Reservations, Revenue Management, and Front Office management.

Zovinar rose from the ranks of Secretary in the Food and Beverage department. With her dedication and hard work, she climbed up the corporate ladder. It has brought her to diverse cities such as Dubai, Bucharest, Cairo and Amman. Zovinar is no stranger, however, to the Jordan Valley Marriott team as she had previously held the position of Front Office Manager for two years before she was promoted to the position of Director of Services at the Amman Marriott in 2006. Zovinar's various positions provided her with a well-rounded, invaluable experience.

Marriott International manages three properties in Jordan, the Amman Marriott Hotel, the Petra Marriott Hotel and the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa.
