Forbes Arabia to host high profile debate that addresses investment realities in the Gulf region

Forbes Arabia, the Dubai-based Arabic edition of the world-renowned business and financial magazine Forbes, has announced that it is organizing a high-profile evening of discussion and debate at the Mina A' Salam Hotel on October 31, 2007.

The event aims to address investment realities in the Gulf region and highlight the importance of innovation in helping Gulf youth to enter the business sector and launch successful investment projects.

During the evening, which is entitled "Beyond Oil: Searching for Creative Ideas for New Investments in the Gulf Region", H.E. Sheikha Lubna Al Qasimi, the UAE Minister of Economy, will address the audience and encourage youth in the Gulf to find new avenues for investment. Other speakers throughout the evening will also emphasize the importance of creativity, talent and innovation in generating success by showcasing local and international achievements.

Another high profile speaker, Fadi Ghandour, CEO and Founder of ARAMEX, will also address the audience on 'An evening with Forbes Arabia for business men less than 40 years old,' which is expected to be attended by many business executives and media.

A debate session will be another highlight of the evening, with a line-up that includes Abdul Baset Al-Janahi, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders; Dr. Ahmed Al-Samerai, Executive Board Member of Tanmiyat Group; Mr. Yazan Hatamleh, Chairman of Sanaya Middle East Human Investment; and Ahmed Al-Zubeidi, President and CEO of Hemaya Universal, a brand protection directory.

The debate and discussions will highlight the successful achievements in founding and launching projects in the private sector and will determine the most effective methods to help the Gulf youth face the challenges and difficulties in the world of finance and business. The initiative will also address the role of governmental policies in encouraging youth and creating a favorable environment to launch projects.
