Omantel participates at annual meeting for members of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council

Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) participates in an annual meeting for members of the SAMENA Telecommunications Council inaugurated on Wednesday 24 October 2007 at the Royal Mensure Hotel in Casablanca City in Morocco and the meeting will continue until 26 October 2007.
Also members of the council have participated the meeting to discuss the dynamics of the telecom markets in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Wohaibi, CEO of Omantel will present the workshop on the second day of the meeting and the workshop will focus on development in telecommunications sector in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
It is worth noting that Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al Wohaibi, CEO of Omantel was appointed as chairman of Telecommunications Council for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia SAMENA after the first meeting of the council which was held in the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai in April 2006.
