- PRESS RELEASE
Emaar Properties has rolled out its Community Clean-up Campaign aimed at enhancing awareness of the various by-laws that govern the community.
"The campaign, currently ongoing, is being organized to instill a sense of community spirit within Emaar's master-planned neighbourhoods by involving members of our communities to keep the neighbourhood clean, enhance its aesthetic value and ensure the safety and security of the community," said Ahmad Al Falasi, Executive Director - Asset Management, Emaar Properties. "Organised by Emaar's Community Management Department, the campaign also enhances awareness of community by-laws that are in line with the proposed Strata Title Law."
To be held until November 17, the Campaign covers a number of community-related issues. Each week, the campaign addresses specific aspects of community living such as home improvement and signage guidelines, cleanliness and recycling, parking and security.
Emaar is distributing flyers on each week's topic to members of the communities and has placed posters at strategic locations to ensure utmost visibility. Each flyer educates residents with Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on the subject.
To ensure greater participation, Emaar is also hosting a home improvement workshop and fun day featuring several competitions for children and adults. Recycling and conservation of resources is a key area of discussion and activity during the campaign.
Emaar has pioneered the building of master-planned communities in Dubai and has now exported this vision abroad, as it strives to achieve its Vision 2010 of becoming one of the most valuable companies in the world through geographic expansion and business segmentation.
