The new website caters for all travelers from this region and provides detailed information on what to see and do whilst in the Emerald Isle whether as an individual or as a family.

In addition to these, specific details on visa requirements, location of mosques as well as a list of restaurants serving Halal meals can also be found on the site.

Tourism Ireland Account Manager, Aiveen Ryan said,

'We are thrilled with the new website as it allows us to communicate more effectively and efficiently within the Middle East market, as well as demonstrating our commitment to serving the individual needs of the Middle East traveller.'

Previously, information on the destination could only be obtained on the main destination website, www.discoverireland.com. But with the introduction of this new website, the requirements of a much wider audience can be satisfied and the awareness and interest for the island can continue to increase.

Visitors to the site should also look out for any promotional activities and competitions which will be featured regularly.
