The internationally-acclaimed leisure facility will be allowing participants to come in and try out the boot camp free of charge as they aim to attract as many people as possible to take part in the early morning group workout which burns up to 500 calories per session.

Designed by the Royal Australian Navy, the Snow-Fit Boot Camps were first launched in July this year and found success among fitness enthusiasts in Dubai. Typical sessions begin early in the morning as professionally trained instructors from fitness solution company Fitness O2 take the participants through a series of strength, endurance, muscle-building and fat-burning exercises in the snow.

Ski Dubai's Marketing Manager, Giselle Whiteaker, who completed the entire first series of the camp, said, "The first Snow Fit Boot Camp was a huge success because it offered an alternative exercise experience to people stuck with choosing between stuffy gyms or the humid outdoors. The participants had a great time and got fit to boot...That's why we want to get as many people as possible into Ski Dubai on November 6th for a trial of the new series. The trial will be offered free of charge and there will be additional benefits for anyone who signs up for the course on that day."

Fitness O2's Head Personal Trainer, Ziggy Darwish, said he was excited about the prospect of having huge numbers of people participating at the same time on November 6th. He said "This is not just a workout, but a workout experience. You get to have fun, meet some really cool people, and get a powerful workout to jumpstart your day. The open day should be excellent and will give people who aren't sure about it a chance to try the camp and see if they want to sign up for the whole course."

The free-of-charge open day will take place November 6th in Ski Dubai over two sessions at 6:30 am and 7:30 am with the invitation open to anyone interested. Ski Dubai is then offering customers the choice of signing up for the month-long course, which begins November 18th. Anyone who signs up for the course on the open day will also receive a two hour slope session pass free of charge. The classes are held at 6:30am and 7:30am, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
