DC World showcases Mirsal World to delegations from Ghana, Libya, Egypt & Nigeria

Several high level delegations from Ghana, Libya, Egypt and Nigeria visited recently Dubai Customs World and met with Mr. Hamad Mohammed Fadhel Al Mazrooei, CEO, DC World.

The meetings were designed to explore the scope of cooperation and the possibilities of benefiting from the Mirsal World system, an advanced electronic customs clearance solution, created and developed by DC World.

The delegates who were participating at the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association 'FIATA' World Congress, specialized in transportation and freight forwarding industry, which was lately held in Dubai, showed interested in learning more about the Mirsal World which was showcased at the event.

The meeting was attended by Ahmed Khalaf Al Marri, DC World Director and Farida H. Mohammed, Sr. Manager, Establishment and Support Management, DC World. Discussions at the meeting were mainly focused on the means of cooperation to benefit from the improved 'Mirsal World' system. The system is a milestone in the field of customs work, as it cuts down time and costs by providing quality services to users. The new system has also drawn major interest of the concerned parties in customs and relevant institutions, such as forwarding and clearance companies, due to its efficiency and the easy procedures involved.

Commenting on Mirsal System, Al Mazrouie said: 'We have launched Mirsal System in line with Dubai Government's vision, which focuses on adopting top-notch technologies to enhance our e-government systems and move forward in establishing Dubai as a pioneering international hub'.

DC World offers various innovative e-services to its customers in order to realize the Corporation's vision of adopting paper-free office solutions, improve productivity and decrease operating expenses.

The advanced version of 'Mirsal World' facilitates through a single window, customs transactions and operations. The software represents a regulatory agency control, also coordinates the processing of documents besides creating an electronic link between shipping companies and the customs authorities during the process, up to the issuance of the customs clearance for the goods.
