Media and Marketing Show 2007 to debut unique creative Training Zone

Domus Group, organizers of the Media and Marketing Show 2007, today announced a Training Zone, debuting this year at the region's largest industry event, will offer onsite workshops on the digital media by international industry experts.

Applied Digital Media Services (ADMS), authorized digital media training and testing centre offering certified courses in the Middle East and Africa, will provide hands on training in an interactive studio environment at the zone.

The Training Zone seeks to develop a new generation of skilled and qualified digital media professionals in the Middle East. (ADMS) will organise sessions at the Training Zone that will be conducted by highly qualified instructors with solid industry experience.

Mohammad Khasrow, President, ADMS, said: 'Our offer of providing in-house certified training significantly saves time for executives who no longer need to travel overseas. As a premier digital media training centre, we provide manufacturer-authorized training in all areas of digital media.'

Gary Adcock, a professional digital artist and technology trainer from ADMS, will hold workshops at the MMS 2007 Training Zone. Adcock is also a leading consultant and technology trainer for broadcast television and corporate environments. He has recently completed projects for Target, Tribune Media, CNN, CBS, Leo Burnett and J. Walter Thompson - Detroit.

ADMS offers courses in Motion Graphics, Digital Video Editing, Desktop Publishing, 3-D Animation, DVD Authoring, Web design and Sound design. ADMS is authorized by Apple Computers, Adobe, digital non-linear media specialist Avid and Digidesigne to offer courses in digital media.

The 30 per cent larger feature-packed Media and Marketing 2007 will be held from November 11-13, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The show seeks to highlight the growth potential of the Middle East's US$4 billion communications sector.

The show's prestigious exhibitor profile includes MBC, the leading pan-Arab free-to-air news and entertainment channel; q.media - sole media representatives of the Al-Jazeera network, Qatar TV, Qatar Radio and Sawt Al Khalij; Korea Trade Centre, ITP Publishing, Zee Network, Al Fujairah Creative City, City 7, Mediapolis, Applied Digital, Dubai Municipality, Pan Arab Research Centre and Kuwaiti media major Al Watanyia in addition to other renowned regional companies in the Media and Marketing industry.
