Just as last year, AAF is taking over the whole of the 11,300 square foot Al Multaqua Hall, now called the Al Aqili Furnishings Pavilion, reflecting the company's dominance of the regional flooring and furnishings markets.
In just 10 years, AAF has grown into a multi-faceted group, providing a complete range of products for any building interior from the ground up. In the first half of 2007, AAF secured orders in the region worth over Dhs150m and according to their management is right on target.
'We announced at the beginning of the year that we would achieve Dhs300m and we are now right on target!' stated Shahriar Khodjasteh, Group Marketing Director of AAF.
'Yet again we will be the largest sole exhibitor at Index, and this reflects our commitment to the industry and gives us an opportunity to entertain our valued stakeholders. At the same time, we are also very pleased to be the presenting and platinum sponsor of the CID Interior Design Awards, which will be held on the fourth night of Index, which also shows our support for the professionals within our industry,' added Khodjasteh.
Some of AAF's recent projects include the Dubai Mall Hotel Furnished Apartments, the new Concourse Hotel at the Dubai Airport, the Park Place for Bin Drai Enterprises, the Lake Towers Hotel, Dubai; Rotana Hotel, Kuwait; Radisson Hotel, Jeddah; and the new Dubai Properties Head Quarters in Dubai to name but a few. AAF has also executed the complete fit-out project for Omniyat Properties' head offices in Burjuman Business Tower and has very recently been awarded a Dhs17.5m project at ALDAR's Al Raha Gardens residential villa's project.
'As we have found in previous years, Index attracts professionals involved in all aspects of the interiors industry and it therefore offers a perfect opportunity for us to renew contacts and meet new industry players,' he concluded.
AAF, which represents 50 of the world's finest suppliers and providers of interior furnishing solutions, will display brands including Shaw Industries from the USA - the worlds largest manufacturer of carpets, Dina Vanelli - the Turkish based manufacturer of fine curtains, upscale upholstery and satin fabrics, i4Mariani - an Italian based company offering state-of-the-art manufacturing technology with a strong handicraft tradition in exclusive office and residential furniture, SLV -the leading contemporary lighting supplier, based in Germany, and Francesco Molon, manufacturer of high-end, handmade Italian furniture amongst many others.
