Solidarity participates in the Global Symposium on 'Leading Changes in the World Economy'

Solidarity, one of the largest Takaful companies in the world, has participated in the global symposium on 'Leading Changes in the World Economy' that was held under the patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Oil and Gas Affairs.

The symposium, organized by Golden Trust Consultancy, was headed by Dr. Lulwa AL Mutleq who highlighted, at the opening speech, the role of well trained Human Resources in supporting the Kingdom's economy & growth. The symposium was led by Professor James Clawson, Head of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at Darden Graduate School of Business Administration - Virginia, USA.

Commenting on Solidarity's participation in this well organized seminar, Bassel Hanbali said:

About James G. Clawson

Professor of Business Administration James G. Clawson heads Darden's Leadership and Organizational Behavior Area. He also teaches and leads several Executive Education programs. His research addresses issues of leadership, career management, management development, and mentoring. He has authored four books, numerous articles, and written or supervised the writing of more than 100 cases on a variety of topics. Clawson has consulted with a number of corporations and organizations on organizational design, management development, career management, managing change, leadership development, and human resource management. He also has taught at the International University of Japan as a visiting professor.

Before joining the Darden faculty in 1981, Clawson taught at Harvard Business School, worked as a functional trainer for Mobil Oil Company in Japan, and served as an international banking officer for Wells Fargo Bank.
