DTCM conducts presentation for students at Dubai Knowledge Village

As part of its continued efforts to promote Dubai and create better awareness about the emirate, the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) organized a presentation for students at the Dubai Knowledge Village on Monday.

The DTCM Deputy Director Missions, Mr. Abdullah Bin Suwaidan, gave the presentation that highlighted the strengths and opportunities of Dubai as the world's leading business and tourism hub.

He utilized the International Students Orientation event to create better awareness about the various government initiatives and tourism infrastructure in the emirate. The event was attended by more than 350 students in addition to the officials from the Dubai Knowledge Village and Dubai International Academic City.

Mr. Abdullah later answered the queries raised by the participants hailing from various nationalities about various topics relating to tourism industry and business opportunities.

He also briefed about the history of Dubai, the business environment, infrastructure expansion and the tourism development. They were also given insights into on the landmarks being created in Dubai.
