InMuscle to launch new products at Sportex 2007

The regional sports nutrition supplement market is growing at a rapid pace with increasing awareness on its health benefits with consumption picking up by 30% annually, according to Dubai-based In Muscle L.L.C, one of the leading participants at the upcoming fifth edition of the trade expo, Sportex 2007.

InMuscle, which has carved a niche for itself as a leading player in the regional sports nutrition supplement market will be showcasing over 20 of its products at the premier international event for sports, health, fitness and leisure, Sportex 2007, which will be held at the Dubai International Exhibition and Convention Centre (DIECC) between November 11-13 2007. Sportex 2007 is organized by the Dubai-based International Expo Consults (IEC), a part of the prominent national business group, Falak Holding, which has significant shareholding in Dubai Sports City.

Commenting on the participation in Sportex 2007, Mr. Ahmad Kargar, Business Development Director, In Muscle L L C, said: "Sportex 2007 is the only leading show that provides a platform for the sports business fraternity and with the steep rise in the consumption of sports nutrition supplement, the show offers an excellent supporting opportunity to our regional market expansion plans. In the backdrop of the upswing in the business, we are in the process of reaching out to more regional markets as well as deepen our presence in the UAE market."

"According to our study, the regional market for sports nutrition supplement is to the tune of over $150m and is expanding rapidly. The UAE ranks the highest in consumption at $60m annually and we are confident to grow this market further," he said.

InMuscle, part of the Starlite Group is planning to launch a fat burner energy drink at Sportex 2007, the latest in its portfolio. The company is also planning to open a new flagship outlet in Dubai soon as part of enhancing its market presence. InMuscle is also the lead sponsor of the fitness show, an integral component of Sportex 2007.

"The sports nutrition supplement business virtually never existed in the Middle East before and is still an emerging market. Our endeavour is to promote the business through safe and sound healthy practices and develop the market," Mr. Kargar said, adding that the company is currently in the process of expanding its footprints to Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Oman from its Dubai base.

Commenting on InMuscle's presence and Sportex 2007, Mr. Abdul Rehman Falaknaz, President, Falak Holding and International Expo Consults, said:

He said Sportex 2007 has been conceived to support and enhance the sports business market. This year's Sportex 2007 is endorsed by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
