Gulf Air Frequent flyer programme lunches 'Become a Million-Air' promotion

Gulf Air, known for its generous 'million miles' under its Frequent flyer programme (FFP), has once again come up with an irresistible promotion for its FFP members to win one million miles every week for five weeks, plus a final chance to win two VIP tickets for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2008.

Under the new scheme, Gulf Air Frequent flyers who travel with Gulf Air between 1 November and 5 December 2007, will enter into a weekly draw to win one million miles every week for five weeks.

In the final week, all those who have flown during this period will enter into a final draw to win a VIP weekend for two to the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2008.

Members have to just quote their membership number when they make their reservations and they will be automatically entered into the draw earning one entry per sector flown.

"Our FFP promotions are an instant hit with our members because of the generous rewards they offer," says Gulf Air Acting Executive Vice President Marketing and Sales, Mr. Danny Barranger.

"Gulf Air offers one of the most generous loyalty programmes in the airline business with benefits that include an extended mile life of 10 years, excess baggage allowance, priority check-in, priority baggage handling as well as priority waitlisting, if our flights are full and, lounge access depending on membership level."

Winners of the promotion will be able to use their miles to travel for free, to any of the Gulf Air destinations worldwide while enjoying the luxury of First or Business Class cabins, its luxurious Sleeper Seats and the services of Sky Chefs.

For example, a million miles can get 18 First Class return tickets from Bahrain to Middle East destinations or 10 Business Class return tickets from Europe to Gulf destinations.
