A cooperation agreement between EIDA and national company ESNAAD

The Emirates Identity Authority has signed a cooperation agreement with ESNAAD company for the registration of ESNAAD staff and their families in the population register and identity card program.
In a press conference following the signing of the agreement, H.E. Darwish Al Zaraouni appreciated the initiative of ESNAAD for registering its staff in the population register and identity card program in cooperation with EIDA, indicating that ESNAAD was the first national entity to cooperate with Emirates Identity Authority for the provision of registration services to its staff at its premise saving much efforts for the company's staff as well as for implementing of the National ID program.
Such initiative reflects the company's concern to effectively participate in the development of the UAE, noted Mr. Al Zaraouni. He also hoped that all the local and federal governmental entities would follow ESNAAD to enhance the mutual cooperation as recommended in the Federal Government Strategy.
"This agreement comes within the context of EIDA's strategy to provide high quality services and facilitate the registration process for the public in association with government, semi-government and private entities," Mr. Al Zaraouni explained. "It was agreed to register 700 of ESNAAD employees and their families who have not yet obtained ID cards. The agreement stipulates that two mobile registration units will be provided along with the necessary staff to register the abovementioned employees and their families at ESNAAD headquarter in accordance with a time table to be agreed between both parties."
H.E. Darwish Al Qubaisi, the Director General of ESNAAD, said that ESNAAD is always keen on communicating with government authorities and saves no efforts to boost cooperation process with them in order to achieve the joint objective of serving the UAE community. His Excellency also expressed his gratitude to EIDA for their ready response and cooperation with the Company's officials to conclude the said agreement, stressing that what have been agreed upon will save a lot of efforts for the Company's staff and their families, especially that the Company's headquarter is located at Mussafah Industrial Area. Finally, he pledged to provide all necessary facilities to render this project a success, and hoped that the concluded agreement will encourage other companies to enter similar agreements in support of this vital and significant project.
The Second Stage of EIDA's Registration Strategy includes the registration of all employees (both UAE nationals and expatriates) working at government and semi-government authorities in the UAE. Meanwhile, the first stage of the plan aimed at the registration of all UAE nationals before the launch of the Third (final) Stage, and including the registration of all legal UAE residents, still continues.
