Alpha Data has successfully installed and commissioned the Network equipment at the NMC Specialty Hospital, as per the design and conceptualization brief provided by Reliance Infotech, the in-house IT arm of NMC.
The Hospital Information System, Document Management System and Picture Archival and Communication System and other applications currently installed at the Hospital demand high bandwidth a high bandwidth which the new infrastructure effectively meets the current and future requirements where it will allow doctors to check patient files, X-rays, labs reports and write prescriptions through the network which speeds up all important response times for patients. This cutting edge technology also facilitates and accelerates the time required to respond to patient needs.
Mr. Seshu, IT Infrastructure Manager of NMC said that a fast, reliable and highly efficient local area network is crucial for running the applications.
Mr. Seshu complementing Alpha Data on the successful completion of the project said that NMC was impressed with the best-of-breed technologies that Alpha Data offers. "Our positive experience with Alpha Data while working on the WAN projects earlier was also a decisive factor in working with them again" he added.
Sandeep Kokroo, Networks Manager at Alpha Data, stated that NMC's core requirement was for a reliable network that could support its new services. We worked closely with our partner, Nortel, in order to provide NMC with the latest in network technologies.
