Al Aqili flooring contract for Al Raha rises to Dhs22m

The contract is for the supply and fitting of some 91,000 square metres of high quality Boen parquet flooring for the first two communities, Al Muzera and Al Mariah. This is in addition to the 23,330 square metres of parquet being supplied under phase one of the scheme. The value of the phase one contract was over Dhs4.5m million and already 70% of it has been completed.

AAF was subcontracted by Al Jaber Buildings LLC, on behalf of the developer of the project, ALDAR Properties. Al Raha Gardens is part of the Al Raha Beach Development - a peaceful haven on the doorstep of a vibrant waterfront community, which will eventually be home to over 120,000 people. The homes, ranging from spacious 3-bedroom townhouses to luxurious 5-bedroom villas, echo a traditional arabesque design and feel, with contemporary specifications that offer the homeowner every modern convenience.

Boen hardwood floors are amongst the finest quality structured hardwood floors available. Made in Norway to exacting standards, and sourced from managed forests and sustainable resources, the parquet at Al Raha is being supplied in both Canadian Maple and Oak. AAF is Boen's exclusive representative in the region.
