- PRESS RELEASE
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders today announced a world class executive education programme for high potential employees, as part of its ambitious employee development initiative.
The leadership training programme, which commenced in September 2007, is conducted in collaboration with leading international business management institutions such as Harvard, the IMD of Switzerland, Columbia University of the US and INSEAD of France.
Abdul Baset Al Janahi, CEO of Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. For Young Business Leaders, said: "Investment in human capital is an important asset for any organisation to continue in strengthening its business and management capabilities. UAE nationals constitute an important component of the Establishment's core team.
"We are highly conscious of accelerating the professional growth of our team members through focused training. Our employee development initiative for nationals places significant emphasis on enhancing their leadership and management skills through world class training programmes."
The development programme is in line with the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015, which validates the importance of human capital as a key enabler for optimum economic growth.
Candidates for the training will be selected through a process of succession planning. Based on a 360-degree appraisal of the employee, the programme will seek to address specific development needs through a series of case studies, seminars, role plays and projects. It will also combine class room learning, outdoor team building exercises, and an executive well-being programme customized for each participant.
Al Janahi added: "Our focus is to champion enterprise formation and growth. We achieve this through our network of valued relationships and resources. The executive training programme, to be held in association with leading international institutions, will broaden our employees' sector specific knowledge, and eventually, nurture a host of dynamic and innovative enterprises. It will also help us deliver a consistently high level of service to our members."
The training programme will also help employees keep pace with their current job requirements, and prepare them for competitive future challenges.
The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders offers a wide range of enabling services to its members, including facilitating business agreements with leading government and private sector companies. These services include business consultancy, training programmes and logistical support.
