Gargash Enterprises welcomes new General Manager

Mr. Ramsay commenced his new post on Sunday, 21st October 2007, and has responsibility over all automotive matters, including passenger cars, used cars, commercial vehicles, all service and parts departments as well as Sixt Rent-a-Car and Autotek.

Prior to moving to the UAE, Ramsay was General Manager at Honda UK for the last two years. Previously he was with Daimler Chrysler in the UK, where he was Managing Director for Daimler Chrysler Retail - a directly managed retail and used car business employing over 2,500 employees. His responsibilities also included property management and Daimler Chrysler insurance. Ramsay has also held positions as Retail Operations Director for Daimler Chrysler UK and Sales Director for Mercedes-Benz.

Ramsay was Managing Director of VW Australia, a division of Inchcape PLC before joining Daimler Chrysler UK. In this role he had full P&L responsibility for all VW dealers in Australia. His career has also included spells as General Manager After Sales Honda Cars UK, Sales and Marketing Director for Volvo Australia, Managing Director of Volvo Cars Ireland.

With his wealth of experience in retail and in working within manufacturers, as well as a degree in accountancy, Ramsay is a genuine world class all rounder. His achievements within the automotive business are outstanding, and Gargash Enterprises is delighted to welcome him on board.
