Tripp Lite appoints Active IT as a key networking partner in the UAE

An agreement to this effect was inked by Vipin Sharma, Vice President, EEMEA & India Sales, Tripp Lite, and Parvez Ahmed, CEO/President of Active IT. The move comes at a time when Tripp Lite's products are seeing an increased demand as the regional market for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with up to 80KVA capacity rating is expected to cross the $85m mark in 2008.

As Tripp Lite's partner in the UAE, Active IT will be in charge of distributing the manufacturer's extensive networking portfolio, which includes Rack Mount UPS systems, KVM switches, cables and connectivity products, power strips and PDUs, 19" rack systems and network management accessories. Working in close partnership with Tripp Lite, Active IT has set an ambitious growth strategy wherein it aims to increase Tripp Lite's market share and cement its credentials as a strong and aggressive distributor in the region.
