Motorola, a global leader in video and TV solutions, anticipates growing demand for IPTV and mobile TV in the region, fueled by the evolving media habits of the region's consumers and the increased availability of enabling technology infrastructure to support operators' growth.

"In the increasingly competitive markets of the Middle East, IPTV services will enable operators to benefit from new business opportunities to retain and grow their subscriber base. More and more consumers are demanding choice, convenience and control in their TV experience and IPTV gives operators the flexibility to offer these personalized services,"

said Ian Wilkinson, IPTV solutions marketing manager, Middle East & Africa, Motorola Home & Networks Mobility.

Ian Wilkinson will deliver a key presentation on 5 November at the IPTV World Forum ME focusing on offering a totally personalized, on-demand TV experience with increased choice, convenience and control as well as outlining business models to protect and grow operator revenue while maintaining the interests of the viewers.

At Mobile TV Middle East, Bilal Saleh, director, mobile TV services, Europe Middle East and Africa, Motorola Home & Networks Mobility will chair the conference first day and deliver a keynote focusing on the role of mobile TV in creating personalized, converged and interactive TV viewing experiences that successfully cater to regional consumers' increasingly mobile lifestyles.

"Motorola's 'Ultimate TV Experience' provides a great showcase for what a consumer TV experience can be both today and in the future especially if that experience goes mobile. From enhancing your TV experience to providing content from multiple sources such as live TV broadcasts over DVB-H or streamed over mobile networks on a variety of devices including mobile phones and set-top-boxes." said Saleh.

Visitors to the Motorola stand (#36) will experience the latest in IPTV and mobile TV solutions.
