The innovative airline is making family and group travel more convenient by launching a brand new range of larger limousines, which can accommodate up to seven First and Business Class passengers. This removes the need for large groups to be separated in two vehicles.
The 15 luxurious Mercedes-Benz Vianos, operating across the UAE and secured through Gargash Enterprises in Dubai, represent a further investment by the airline in passenger comfort and personal service.
The strikingly designed vehicles have been carefully selected after research was conducted to find out what Emirates' passengers wanted when travelling in a group. Comfort, space and security came out as the leading requirements, and on that basis, the airline went for the generously proportioned and extremely comfortable Mercedes Benz Viano.
The Viano offers versatility, allowing passengers to either sit conventionally or facing each other - so conversations between family members can be continued with ease throughout the journey to or from the airport.
With Emirates working on the specifications alongside Mercedes, the car's interior is particularly well thought out. Great attention has been paid to ergonomics, comfort and capacity, with a variety of intelligent storage ideas.
Extra storage space is expected to be a big hit with families who travel with a large amount of luggage or perhaps business travellers carrying equipment for conferences and exhibitions.
The Viano can accommodate up to seven travellers, while sophisticated technology brings the highest standards of safety and security to its occupants.
The Viano's seats have been designed to offer maximum comfort, even on long road journeys. All seats are ergonomically designed and have three-point seatbelts.
Emirates has invested heavily in its exclusive Chauffeur-Drive Service around the globe. Limousines now serve Emirates' First and Business Class customers at more than 30 airports throughout the world, from Auckland to Sao Paulo.
In Venice, Emirates' Premium passengers are provided with a luxurious water limousine service to and from the airport, the only airline service of its kind in the world.
Emirates keeps it in the family
Emirates' Chauffeur-Drive Service to and from Dubai International Airport just got bigger with the introduction of new, spacious Mercedes people carriers, specifically for large families and groups.
