"Xerox invented laser printing, Ethernet networking and the first digital MFP. We've invested years of research and development into designing the most productive office solutions in the industry," said Natesh Mani, Director, Office Business, Xerox MEA.
"The new WorkCentre line is robust enough to keep up with the region's office demands, multi-tasking several jobs at the same time and adding more security controls to document management. The result? Higher productivity for our customers."
The new WorkCentre systems offer Xerox's advanced security features to protect the document, the device and the transmission path. An Encrypted Disk and Image Overwrite feature deletes images from the hard drive automatically upon job completion or on demand. Made standard in all Xerox multifunction systems in 2006, this feature helps customers protect confidential information that flows through the device.
The WorkCentre 7328, 7335 and 7345 color multifunction systems are designed for small to mid-sized businesses or enterprise workgroups. In addition to the mailbox and workflow features, users can store scanned documents in multiple formats, including the new Microsoft XPS format and searchable PDFs. Documents scanned directly into a PDF format can be searched by their content, forwarded via e-mail, and stored on a PC, the Web or in a document management system. Scanned documents that are routed to e-mail or a repository are automatically encrypted, and remain so until unencrypted by the authorized recipient. In addition, the products include Xerox Standard Accounting, a feature that enables businesses to track usage, set limits for each user and manage costs. The WorkCentre 7300 products represent the first implementation of Xerox's Extensible Interface Platform on a color multifunction system.
The WorkCentre 7300 systems are available in Middle East region through authorized resellers and dealers.
