- PRESS RELEASE
Dubai-based turnkey solutions and consultancy firm Select Contracts has been appointed to develop a conceptual study for a luxury hotel and residential resort on the Dead Sea.
Jordan is located in the heart of the Middle East. It is a place with history, a place with religion, a place with healing and a place with beauty. The Dead Sea is the lowest dry land point on earth at over 420m below sea level; it is also the second saltiest lake in the world which generates a unique swimming experience. The Dead Sea attracts tourists from all over the world to experience the special healing powers which can be found there.
Ben Barker, Development Director of Select Contracts said, "This has the makings of an incredible opportunity for the hospitality market in Jordan bringing something totally unique to what is an already fascinating country. With so many landmark sites in Jordan, such as the Dead Sea and the now new Ancient Wonder of the World, Petra, we are aiming to deliver a truly world class hospitality product which will reflect the rich culture and heritage of the country."
