WoW, du's revolutionary new recharge card, which stands for 'With more credit - that provides a whopping 20% extra credit Or With more time', is available in all du authorised outlets throughout the UAE and du's online shop (e-shop) from today. Extra credit of 20% is an introductory limited period offer till 31 December 2007, 15% will be applied thereafter.

Instead of the single option provided by its competitor's recharge cards, WoW provides du Pay as you Go customers two options everytime they recharge their line. Customers now have the freedom to choose between 'more credit' or 'more time'.

Currently customers recharge their Pay as You Go (pre-paid) lines and receive credits which do not expire as long as the customer renews the line annually. The WoW card provides this and more. It provides customers with another option every time they recharge. This is the 'more credit' option while the standard option is now labelled as 'more time'.

While the entire 'more credit' balance has to be used up within a specified validity period, each recharge denomination will have a unique validity period for the 'more credit' option.

Explaining how the choice is more than ever in the hands of customers, not only through the entrance of another Telco player, but every time they recharge their new card, Osman Sultan, CEO du said, 'du is proud to offer the UAE a breakthrough product such as the WoW recharge card, which will change the mobile market completely, given the extremely high percentage of Pay as You Go lines in the UAE. Just as the Pay by the Second billing contributes to reducing mobile charges for customers in the UAE, so the WoW card is another radical product delivered by du to the benefit of customers across the UAE. We continue to increase value, convenience and comfort for our customers, through innovation.'

This new recharge method would appeal to all kinds of prepaid customers. Customers who have regular to high usage would prefer to use the 'more credit' option for every recharge while customers with low usage could plan to use the 'more credit' option on occasions where they need to make more calls within a short period of time for e.g. weekends or during festivals etc.

For every recharge, all du prepaid customers have the freedom to choose between the 'more credit' option by entering *136*# or the 'more time' option by using the regular method of *135*#. However, customers are not obliged to make the choice when they buy their recharge card.

To make it easy for the customer, du is introducing a new-look recharge card called WoW which has all the details of the two options printed on it. The 'more credit' option is also available with any of the existing recharge cards in the market

Customers can activate one option on one recharge and activate another option on a subsequent recharge and have both the options available at any given point of time.

Customers will get to see both the 'more credit' and the 'more time' balances after every call and during a balance enquiry.
