Dubbed 'In the Footsteps of Lawrence', those taking part will hike, cycle and camel trek from the Dead Sea to the Red Sea via Wadi Mujib and Petra, and across Wadi Rum to Aqaba on this 9-day adventure. Funds raised by participants will support The Noor Al Hussein Foundation in Jordan and the Health Work Committee's Qalqiliya Hospital in Palestine.

G4G Chairman and Co-Founder, Brian Wilkie said, 'Those joining us on this challenge are in for a real cultural treat - they'll be able to experience Jordan in a way that few tourists are afforded. After hiking, biking and camel trekking, they will visit the Noor Al Hussein Foundation, Jordan - one of the two charities benefiting from this challenge. Funds raised will provide the Foundation with therapy equipment for mentally and physically challenged children and challengers will witness first-hand how their funds are positively changing the lives of those less fortunate. Additionally, 'In the Footsteps of Lawrence' will provide essential funds to purchase vital medical equipment for the Qalqiliya Hospital in Palestine.'

Challenge Director, Andy Jackson added, 'Jordan is a Kingdom steeped in history, culture and a rich heritage and following in the footsteps of T.E. Lawrence is one of the best ways to experience it. This challenge will see participants set out from the lowest point on earth, at Wadi Ibn Hammed on the Dead Sea, and follow the ancient camel caravan route, past archaeological sites dating from the dawn of history, through Petra and Wadi Rum before finishing in Aqaba on the Red Sea. A visit to Petra - one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO world heritage site - will definitely be a highlight and help to make this an experience that participants will carry with them for rest of their lives.'

Rated at a moderate to hard fitness level and accompanied by a local team of experienced guides, participants in the adventure will be able to truly test their limits whilst experiencing and exploring an exceptional part of the Middle East in the company of like-minded individuals. Challengers will need to raise a minimum sponsorship to take part, but no previous experience is necessary and free training sessions will be held.
