Dubai Press Club and Dow Jones Newswires host specialized three-day workshop for business journalists

Organized by Dubai Press Club and Dow Jones Newswires, the leading international financial news agency, in cooperation with Dubai Properties, the workshop will include discussions on the ramifications of Fiscal Policy, Monetary Policy, the Link between Markets, Companies and Economies, as well as Listed and Unlisted Companies.

The workshop introduces methods of analysing main economic indicators, including GDP; consumer prices; exports and imports; trade, current, and capital accounts; retail spending; industrial production; and borrowings. It will also examine the role of interest rates and the significance of market movements in any economy.

The workshop will help journalists find answers to current issues in the business world such as the reasons for companies going public, and the dynamics between corporate enterprises and markets such as equity, fixed income, foreign exchange, energy and commodity markets.
