Ever since its regional launch at the end of 2004, Infiniti sales have escalated; growing ten times in volume. Sales in September recorded a 200% growth over the same month last year.

Abhijeet Pandit, Infiniti regional brand manager said:

'Since its launch, Infiniti has exceeded all expectations and managed to capture a considerable market share as the youngest luxury automotive brand in the region. Breaking the sales record is an achievement that confirms Infiniti's fast-growing pace and we expect more achievements, as we are expanding the existing line up with new models that embody the Infiniti promise.'

Pandit highlighted Infiniti design as a key factor in the brand's sales success, saying: 'Our Infiniti vehicles represent unique, vibrant, intelligent and dynamic designs that deliver our vision for this brand in the region. However, product development is accompanied with an evolving effort to present best ownership experience as the brand promises. Consistently high levels of exceptional customer service and satisfaction also contributed to the record results, along with the steep rise in the numbers of sales and customers being handled.'
The Infiniti FX premium cross-over and Infiniti G sport sedan are top sellers in the region, leading the way in achieving sales targets. In 2008, Infiniti plans to add two more models that will to be major contributors in sales and expansion of market share.
