The Children's Museum hold fundraiser

The Children's Museum held a costume party that included fun and educational activities to raise funds to bring under privileged children to the museum.
The fundraising event was attended by one hundred and fifty children and their families and included a variety of activities such as a magic show, story telling in the library, in addition to arts and crafts at the studio. The event also included exhibit related quizzes that the children answered in exchange for treats and concluded with a costume parade for the children.
Ms. Hanya Salah, the museum director, remarked on this fundraising event for the CMJ kids program by saying, "It is very important for us at CMJ that we serve the community at large and reach out to families, schools and communities that might otherwise be unable to come to the museum and facilitate their visit and ensure that as many children and families as possible have the opportunity to visit the museum.

The Children's Museum
The Children's Museum of Jordan is a not-for-profit organization located at Al Hussein Park. The museum was established by an initiative by HM Queen Rania Al-Abdullah and is dedicated to creating interactive learning experiences that have the power to encourage and nurture lifelong learning for children and their families. The Museum has over 150 exhibits within its three themes: humankind, technology and the natural world. The Museum is sponsored by individuals and corporations, including: Greater Amman Municipality, Al Sheikh Abdullah Kamel Saleh, Abdali Investment and Development Company, Al-Ahli Bank, Emaar Properties, Gulf Finance House, Motorola Inc., Nestle ME, and Zain.
