The new Visa Cashback Card will provide 3.5% money back on all daily shopping, making this an 'ideal' card for everyday usage. According to recent UNB research, cash-back is one of the most important features that attract credit card users.

"At UNB, we are committed to providing consumers with innovative solutions to help manage their financial needs. The UNB Cashback Credit Card is the most rewarding product compared to other reward programmes in the market. This card gives consumers a 3.5% cash-back on ALL their daily shopping on a regular basis - and it is important to stress that this isn't a short term programme or a lucky dip, but a continuous and long term commitment from UNB to its customers," commented Brian West, Head of Retail Banking Group at UNB.

The newly offered card will enable users to get back 3.5% of the value of their daily purchases across a spectrum of daily shopping including groceries, supermarkets, petrol pumps, pharmacies and household items. In addition, the card offers a range of value-added benefits such as discounts at hotels, roadside assistance, etc.

In line with its strategy to be a key banking player in the region, UNB consistently provides innovative products and services for its customers. A recent different product launch from UNB was the new 'Dream Account', which enables customers to bank in a normal manner and wins up to Dhs2m every quarter through the Al Awwal savings scheme.
