Over three successive days, EIDA has been displaying a model of the Mobile Registration Vehicle at the Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, which was widely met with very positive feedback by the public who were eager to know more about the Population Register and ID Card (PRIDC) Program, the registration requirements and further details on this new and unique service.
General Director of Emirates Identity Authority, H.E. Darwish Al Zaraouni stated that this step comes to serve one of the Authority's main objectives represented in serving the authority's customers and optimizing the performance level offered by it. It is the first government authority that heads towards the citizens to relieve them from heading to the Authority registration center for further follow up with the routine administrative procedures.
Mr. Zaraouni underlined that such service will be available for all the citizens and will be operating on preemptive booking basis by contacting the EIA call center on (600 523 432). Individuals who wish to benefit from this service should call and fix an appointment for registration. The registration cost will be AED 500 per family (provided that all the members of such family are registered in the same family book or residence visa), and additional AED 10 per each member of the family; a female team will be provided by the Authority for registration of ladies citizens, added Mr. Zaraouni.
The Authority has managed to offer 6 mobile vehicles equipped with registration lines which include all the necessary registration steps, in addition to 6 cases available in all the said vehicles and other 9 cases will be used at a later stage to provide the service at the customers' premises and residences.
EIDA to provide mobile registration service to all customers by the end of the year
Emirates Identity Authority (EIDA) announced the launch of its mobile registration service starting next December, for individuals willing to go through registration procedures at comfort of their houses.
