Moreover, radio listening is also wide spread in Kuwait with 84.5% of respondents saying they tune into the radio with 79.3% of radio listeners listening to it on a daily basis.
Arab Advisors Group's major analytical survey of Kuwait was scientifically done. The survey involved face to face interviews with 605 respondents from different households across Kuwait. Respondents were 15 years old and above, and were cellular service users. This random survey is of the current cellular users in Kuwait, and not the total population of the country. Kuwait's mobile penetration rate was around 82% by mid 2007. This survey provides deep insights into the media usage patterns in Kuwait. The random survey has a 99% confidence level with a less than 6% margin of error. The survey included 135 detailed questions. In surveying cellular users and media consumption patterns, Arab Advisors Group always relies on the personal face to face interviews as it guarantees optimal representation and accuracy.
The survey revealed that movies are the most popular program type watched on television among respondents of all age groups. 94.2% of GSM users in Kuwait watch movies at home with 89.1% of those who watch movies watching them on FTA satellite channels.
