In the return direction there is a choice of morning, afternoon and evening flights from Bahrain to London.

"The United Kingdom is a very important market for our airline and with a growing passenger demand this new addition is part of our efforts to strengthen and deliver a better product to our customers," says Acting President and Chief Executive Björn Näf, referring to the service which began 5th November.

"This is also an important development as Gulf Air has recently switched to single hub operations from Bahrain, which is the leading financial center in the Middle East," says Mr. Näf adding that the service also reflects on the strategy of an airline that means business.

Gulf Air's commercial executive echoes similar remarks adding that passenger numbers between Bahrain and London have seen strong demand over the last 12 months, especially in the first and business class.

"This growth has shown us that our customers have voted with their feet and are opting to fly Gulf Air as their airline of choice," says Acting Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing Danny Barranger.

"Our premium customers through our research have demanded an additional third service between London and Bahrain from where operate the biggest network in the Middle East," says Mr. Barranger.

"Our customers can now complete their busy schedule in Bahrain and still be able to attend that all important dinner appointment in London, making Gulf Air better for business," says Mr. Barranger.

Gulf Air's passengers also have excellent onward connections to other routes within the airline's new revamped network, which has significantly shortened connection times for travellers.
The new schedule offers flights departing from Heathrow at 09:30, 20:25 and 22:30 arriving in Bahrain at 19:10, 05:55 and 08:00. From Bahrain flights to Heathrow depart at 10:10, 16:30 and 01:55 arriving in London at 14:45, 21:00 and 06:35.
