Oracle underpins MS Retail's innovative new kids concept store in Kuwait

MS Retail selected Oracle solutions to underpin the region's first-of-its-kind retail shopping experience for kids - Baroue and Club B.me.

The strategic relationship will deliver an Oracle platform of retail applications and technology to augment MS Retail's infrastructure and support the introduction of unique retail concepts in Kuwait and its subsequent expansion across the region.

The first Oracle Retail customer to go live in Kuwait, MS Retail's innovative store, Baroue and Club B.me, sprawled over 6500 square meters of the Avenues Mall at Al Rai, offers an unparalleled shopping experience ranging from kids' apparel and accessories to maternity products, toys and boutiques including a kids' salon, a kid's café and photo studio, and year-round recreational activities and events for kids.

Oracle's retail expertise and extensive capabilities in merchandising solutions, combined with its pedigree in managing multiple SKUs and supporting rapidly growing retailers, were key to its selection for MS Retail's flagship projects in Kuwait. The strategic relationship is delivering Oracle Retail Merchandising Operations Management and Stores Solutions (Oracle Retail Merchandising System, Oracle Retail Price Management, Oracle Retail Sales Audit and Oracle Retail Invoice Matching), Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle Financial Management, Oracele Payroll and Oracle Human Resources Management) and Oracle's Technology Solutions (Oracle Database and Oracle BPEL Process Manager, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware), to create a strategic, scalable platform that will underpin the Baroue and Club B.me businesses.
