DTCM preparares for UAE National Day celebrations

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has started preparations for the three days of celebrations to mark the 36th UAE National Day.
The National Day Celebrations Committee has started holding meetings to discuss various aspects of holding the celebrations, including working out sponsorships, finalizing programmes and events and deployment of volunteers for the different activities.
She said activities lined up for this year's celebrations will be different compared with the previous years and would appeal all the residents and visitors of the emirate.
The programmes will highlight various aspects of the country's overall progress and development in addition to shedding light on the rich history, culture and heritage of the nation. Details of the celebrations will be announced soon.
