Ms. Shaikha Ebrahim Al Mutawa, Chairperson of National Day Celebrations Committee at DTCM, said the celebrations will start on November 30 and will continue till December 2, the UAE National Day.
The National Day Celebrations Committee has started holding meetings to discuss various aspects of holding the celebrations, including working out sponsorships, finalizing programmes and events and deployment of volunteers for the different activities.
She said activities lined up for this year's celebrations will be different compared with the previous years and would appeal all the residents and visitors of the emirate.
The programmes will highlight various aspects of the country's overall progress and development in addition to shedding light on the rich history, culture and heritage of the nation. Details of the celebrations will be announced soon.
