Sorbonne Abu Dhabi welcomes former French National Education Minister

Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) had the pleasure to welcome on its campus November 6th, H.E. Mr. Jack Lang, the former French National Education minister, in the frame of a personal visit to Abu Dhabi planned on his kind agenda.
The welcoming agenda started with a presentation of PSUAD academic and cultural objectives. Major Gen. Al Bitar highlighted the mission of PSUAD as bridge between civilizations and vector of multicultural dialogue. Dr. Balland stated that with their 45 nationalities PSUAD students represent a perfect blend of cultural awareness. The delegation was escorted on a tour around campus by the university's faculty where the latter shared their experience in this Country and the enrichment it brought to their personal and professional development.
H.E. was assigned many important posts within the ministry of Culture between 1981 to 2002. It is also attributed to his efforts in creating the annual international event; Festival of Music that takes place on June 21st every year. H.E studied Political Sciences in Paris Institute of Political Sciences, and then earned his higher studies in International Law. H.E. also taught International Law from 1971 to 1981.
At the end of a tour in the campus, PSUAD's Representatives thanked H.E. Mr. Jack Lang and the delegation for their visit and offered them a token of appreciation.
