The Emirates Academy honours graduating students

The Emirates Academy, part of Dubai based luxury international hospitality group, Jumeirah, honoured graduating students in a prestigious ceremony attended by Ruud Reuland, General Director of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland and Gerald Lawless, Executive Chairman of Jumeirah Group at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Ron Hilvert, Managing Director of The Emirates Academy, said he was delighted with the achievements of this latest graduating class, "We are all thrilled to be celebrating our third graduation ceremony at The Emirates Academy.
"Each and every graduate should be immensely proud of the hard work and dedication they have invested to achieve their degree qualification and as a result we are delighted to announce that the majority of our students have already found employment within their desired field," Mr Hilvert said.
The forty five graduating students have spent up to four years studying for degrees including Bachelor's Degrees (BSc) in International Hospitality Management, Bachelor's Degrees (BA) in International Tourism Management, Associate Degrees (ASc) in International Hospitality Operations, and Associate Degrees (AA) in Business and Tourism.
Most students have already secured entry-level positions in leading local and international companies within the hospitality industry and several have placements in Jumeirah Hotel and Resort departments such as Sales, Marketing and Human Resources.
The Emirates Academy will continue the celebrations by holding a Graduation Ball for the students on Saturday 10th November at Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
