Forty five students from ten nationalities received degree certificates at the ceremony - the third since the Academy's inception in October 2001 - while more than one hundred new students, from all corners of the globe, were welcomed as the fresh intake for the new semester. The student body now encompasses nearly three hundred students of fifty four different nationalities.
Ron Hilvert, Managing Director of The Emirates Academy, said he was delighted with the achievements of this latest graduating class, "We are all thrilled to be celebrating our third graduation ceremony at The Emirates Academy.
"Each and every graduate should be immensely proud of the hard work and dedication they have invested to achieve their degree qualification and as a result we are delighted to announce that the majority of our students have already found employment within their desired field," Mr Hilvert said.
The forty five graduating students have spent up to four years studying for degrees including Bachelor's Degrees (BSc) in International Hospitality Management, Bachelor's Degrees (BA) in International Tourism Management, Associate Degrees (ASc) in International Hospitality Operations, and Associate Degrees (AA) in Business and Tourism.
Most students have already secured entry-level positions in leading local and international companies within the hospitality industry and several have placements in Jumeirah Hotel and Resort departments such as Sales, Marketing and Human Resources.
The Emirates Academy will continue the celebrations by holding a Graduation Ball for the students on Saturday 10th November at Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
