Sportex 2007 to host body building competition, Middle East Fitness Summit

Sportex 2007, which is in its fifth edition, will run till November 13, 2007 with participation from 12 countries and an array of exhibitors including sports equipment manufacturers, service providers, sports infrastructure development companies, among others. It is organised by International Expo Consults, a member of Dubai-based Falak Holding.
This year's Sportex 2007 is endorsed by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The Sportex 2007 body building competition is conducted in coordination with the Emirates Body Building and Weight Lifting Federation while the Middle East Fitness Summit is organised by Middle East Fitness Professionals (Mefitpro).

MEFIT07 is the only event of its kind in the Middle East that gives you access to world class master trainers, nutritionists, physiotherapists, weight loss consultants, kids fitness experts and fitness management professionals. It will also showcase the most innovative fitness technologies and methods.

The summit will address issues related to the fitness industry in the region. Interactive forums and lectures will cover a wide range of topics ranging from Sport Specific Fitness programs, nutrition and customer service.

The body building competition which has attracted many contestants from across the UAE is a very unique event since it is a pioneering attempt to spread awareness and highlight the enthusiasm in this sector. The competition will be held in two categories - over 80 KG and less than 80 kg. Winners of the body building competition will be given cash prices and will get other benefits including free supply of sports nutritional supplements from InMuscle, sponsor of the body building event.
