Action Aviation at Dubai Air Show 2007

Resplendent on the static park is a freshly delivered MD Explorer 902 helicopter fitted in luxury VIP layout, newly accepted by a Royal family in the UAE, and currently operated on behalf of the Royal family by Action Aviation. Also on display is the unique, high speed, long range Sino Swearingen SJ30 light jet, which Action Aviation Chairman Hamish Harding flew the 7810 nautical miles from San Antonio, USA, in a record flying time of 16 hours, 24 minutes (20 hours with fuel stops).

Javelin Personal Jet on Show - three orders logged in Middle East to date

Action Aviation is also showing for the first time at the Dubai Show, the full scale mock up of the Javelin Personal Jet from Aviation Technology Group (ATG) of USA. Providing speeds of Mach 0.9 and climb rates of 9000 ft per minute, this fully aerobatic personal jet is producing significant interest around the world.

Signed as the exclusive distributor of the Javelin at the MEBAA Show in Dubai earlier this year, Action Aviation has secured three orders for the Javelin from Middle East customers to date, with deliveries scheduled to commence in two and a half years time.

Action Aviation placed firm orders for 40 Javelin jets for delivery to its customers over a period of eight years from certification, including a few early premium positions.

Action Aviation has progressively expanded its activities in the Middle East since opening up a HQ in Dubai.

Mike Creed, Managing Director, heads up a 20-strong local team that works closely with its customers and manufacturers to sell and support its jets and helicopters in the region.
