Inaugural Secure Enterprise Summit (SES) MEA attracts world-class turnout
- United Arab Emirates: Sunday, November 11 - 2007 at 11:18
- PRESS RELEASE
The inaugural Secure Enterprise Summit (SES) has attracted strong support from the international IT vendor community, with more than 35 companies now confirming their participation in this year's event.
"With security considerations now impacting across the entire corporate IT infrastructure, SES will not only covers the topics that most matter to senior-level IT executives shaping their company's future growth, but also provides a neutral platform that will help these decision-makers evaluate the right technology for their needs," said Farouk Hemraj, co-founder at DISTREE Events.
"Unlike traditional exhibitions and conferences, SES is a focused event that provides a perfect platform for business-oriented meetings."
SES MEA offers end-user IT executives a unique opportunity to meet with multiple vendors, attend workshops, participate in panel discussions and network with their peers in a focused yet relaxed business-oriented environment.
SES MEA is supported by leading IT and business media in the region and will attract top-level corporate and government IT executives from across the MEA region. Forrester, the official research partner for the event, will also attend SES MEA to explore some of the latest trends and concepts in enterprise IT.
DISTREE Events, the organisers behind SES, have successfully launched the concept in Russia in October this year at the SES CIS event in Moscow's Le Meridien Country Club. This event gathered together more than 200 CIOs from leading companies across Russia and the CIS. Delegates had the opportunity to hear from high-quality speakers, engage in thought provoking workshops, and discuss new solutions and technologies with over 40 vendors and engage with their peer group.
Confirmed vendors for SES MEA include Alcatel-Lucent, AMD, Aten, Atlantis Land, Avocent, Brocade Communications, Buffalo Technology, F5 Networks, Fortinet, FVC, Infosec, Juniper Networks, Lexmark, LSI Logic. MGE UPS Systems, NEC Computers, NetApp, Netgear, Oki Middle East, Oracle, Postini, Productiva, Proxim, Saft Power Systems, ScanSafe, Secureway, Sonicwall MEA, Sun Microsystems, Utimace and Xerox.
This year's SES MEA event will also mark the launch of the Perfect Project Awards - an opportunity for participating vendors to showcase successful implementations in the region. The winners of the Perfect Project Awards will be determined through a live electronic voting system at the end of each awards session. Vendors can participate in one of the two Perfect Project Awards category at SES MEA: Best Client ROI/TCO Award and Most Innovative Solution Award.
Like all conferences organised by DISTREE Events, SES is a highly exclusive, invitation-only event that will bring together more than 100 senior-level IT decision makers from medium and large organisations spanning all major verticals within the target markets.
The sponsors of this year's SES include AMD, Atlantis Land, FVC, Juniper, Oki, Secureway, Sun and Xerox. SES MEA takes place immediately after DISTREE Events' successful Digital Business Channel (DBC) event, which takes place from the 19th to 21st November.
