Karanouh is managing partner at Cleartag, a branding and web Design Company, with headquarters in Lebanon.

Thirty five distinctive women entrepreneurs under the age of 35 were chosen from around the world by World Business magazine. The 35 women came from different countries and diverse fields and have succeeded in making an impact through their pioneering spirit and actions at a significantly young age.

Karanouh was the only Lebanese women to receive this honor for her achievements in setting up Cleartag in 1999.

Since its establishment, Cleartag has progressively been growing each year, annually winning numerous awards for its work. Cleartag has recently expanded by opening offices in Dubai and the KSA. It has had an outstanding year of success which included winning five awards at the Pan Arab Awards 2007 and 3 awards by its Dubai branch at the UAE Web Awards 2007.

While Karanouh has been working hard to make this happen, she has helped found the LLWB (Lebanese League for Women in Business) and is one of the organizers of the MIT Arab Business Competition that took place in 2007, helping future entrepreneurs achieve their goals.

Commenting on her recognition Karanouh said that being named one of the '35 under 35': "shows that, against all odds, the Lebanese still have the will to grow, flourish, deliver and surpass expectations. This also is a potent statement that Lebanese women have potential, initiative, and drive to make a difference. I hope this will serve as encouragement for my fellow Lebanese women, and other women in the Arab World. This experience has encouraged me strive even harder to take Cleartag to new heights."
