A study commissioned by Reed Exhibitions in preparation for ISNR has concluded that the Middle East's security market will be worth over Dhs7.7bn next year (2008) and will grow over 50% to reach Dhs11.8bn in 2013. In 1998 security spending in the region was just over Dhs2.9bn.
Over the last few months, an ISNR Abu Dhabi delegation headed by Brigadier Matar Salem Al Nayadi, Chairman of the ISNR Abu Dhabi Organizing Committee and officials from Reed Exhibitions, has undertaken an extensive international promotion campaign to highlight the Middle East's homeland security market potential. The team has taken part in several global industry events including Milipol - Paris, DSEi - London, the Paris Air Show at Le Bourget, IDEF-Turkey (International Defence Industry Fair), the Global Security Exhibition in Singapore, IFSEC-India, Security & Defence - Bangkok and the CSPE Exhibition in Shenzen, China. ISNR Abu Dhabi officials are currently promoting the show at Stand No. E 428 in East Hall at the ongoing Dubai Air Show being held 11th - 15th of November 2007.

Consulting and the Al Hamra Group. With the impressive response, ISNR Abu Dhabi is poised to occupy a gross exhibit area of over 13,000 square metres.
Highlighting the close cooperation between Reed Exhibitions and top governmental authorities in the conduct of the show, Brigadier Matar Al Nayadi said: "The UAE Ministry of Interior (MOI) and all its affiliate organizations as well as National Crisis & Emergency Management Authority will collaborate in organizing ISNR Abu Dhabi. The UAE Ministry of Interior is expected to host official delegations from over 33 countries at the show. These delegations will be led by top security officials including Ministers of Interior."
In addition to the exhibition, ISNR Abu Dhabi will host a high level conference organized by INEGMA (Institute for Near East and Gulf Military Analysis) in close collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Interior. The international conference will be held on March 1st 2008 (one day prior to the ISNR exhibition) under the patronage of HH General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. The conference will feature high caliber speakers including heads of police, international security experts and top officials.
The conference topics will include strategic issues such as early warning and defense preparedness, building immunity against catastrophic events and infrastructure protection. Expert speakers will address topics including command control and communications in operations related to rescue of hostages, role of the internet and advanced technologies in monitoring terrorist activity, preventing drug trafficking and organized crime, protecting sensitive installations and border security, and the use of unmanned vehicles, helicopters and sophisticated monitoring equipment to track threats to a nation's security. INEGMA, the organizer of the ISNR Abu Dhabi conference also organizes key security and defense conferences such as Middle East Air Chiefs' Conference held alongside the Dubai Air Show and the Middle East Special Operations Forces Conference held at SOFEX in Jordan.
ISNR Abu Dhabi is the second leg in the ISNR series and follows ISNR London which will be held 2-5 December 2007 at the National Hall, Olympia, London. ISNR Abu Dhabi incorporates the former Security and Safety Middle East, Infosecurity and APTS (Airport, Port & Transport Security) Middle East exhibitions.
