Appointments at RTA

This step comes in continuation to a series of actions taken by the RTA to allow young competent nationals to assume important positions, in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, in addition to attracting distinct cadres and expertise contribute to the achievement the ambitious vision and strategic objectives of the RTA, which can be summarized to provide "Safe and Smooth Transport for all."

The decisions included the appointment of Yousef Al Madani as Manager of Control Center at the Transport Systems Department of the Public Transport Agency. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in the Engineering Management (Excellent with First Honor) from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the year 2005, in addition to obtaining a Higher Diploma in the Applied Electronics and Computer Systems from the same educational institution in 2002. Prior to joining the RTA, he worked for a number of government agencies including the Dubai Police Headquarter, the Department of Quality Assurance Company at Dubai Aluminum Company (DUBAL). Al Madani enjoys good scientific skills and a number of skills, including project management, technical writing and other skills he had acquired through his participation in a number of training courses.

The decisions also involved the appointment of Mariam Obaid Al Muhiri as Manager of Reservation and Distribution at the Transport Systems Department of the Public Transport Agency. He holds a High Diploma Degree in the Computer Programs Engineering Technology from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the year 2001. Al Muhiri occupied a number of posts before joining the RTA, including Geographic Databases Supervisor at Dubai Municipality. She enjoys a number of administrative and managerial skills including the work teams and groups' management, the annual budget proposals, report writing and other skills.

The decisions further included the appointment of Mohammad Masoud Janahi as Manager of Transport Programs Management at the Planning and Business Development Department of the Public Transport Agency. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in the Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo of the United States in 1998. Janahi occupied a number of positions before joining the RTA, including Head of Maintenance Section in Al Qusais of the Dubai Municipality, in addition to his rank as a First Lieutenant Engineer in the UAE Armed Forces. He enjoys a number technical capabilities and skills in the area of work, including project management, cost analysis and communication skills.

Among other competent nationals included by the decisions was the appointment was the appointment Ghayath Mohammad Hashim Mohammed Zaman as Manager of Fare Systems at the Rail Operation Department of the Rail Agency. He holds a Higher Diploma in the Business IT from the Dubai Higher Colleges of Technology in the year 2000. Mohammad Zaman occupied a number of posts before joining the RTA including Senior Billing Support Administrator at Al Thuraya Telecommunications Company in Sharjah. Hen enjoys administrative and supervisory skills in addition to his technical potentials.
