DP World Executive Vice Chairman meets Maersk senior officials

Jamal Majid Bin Thaniah, Executive Vice Chairman DP World and Group CEO Port & Free Zone World recently met a high level delegation from A.P. Moller-Maersk Group.
The delegation comprised of Kim Feifer, CEO of APM Terminals, Nils Andersen, CEO of A.P. Moller Maersk A/S, Ane Maersk Mc-Kinney Uggla, Member of the Board of A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S, Michael Pram Rasmussen- Chairman of the Board of A.P. Moller-Maersk A/S and Marc Gijsbrechts, Maersk CEO Middle East. The meeting was also attended by Mohammed Sharaf, DP World CEO, Anil Wats, COO, DP World and Michael Moore, DP World Senior VP Commercial.
Commenting on the meeting, Mr. Bin Thaniah said:
"Our discussions with the delegation focused on the long-term global co-operation between A.P. Moller-Maersk and DP World. We are especially keen on exploring co-operation with the Maersk Group as it is one of our most prominent customers in several ports operated by DP World around the world, including DP World Jebel Ali. We look forward to further discussions in the future."
Maersk Group is more commonly known simply as Maersk and is most well known for its cargo transportation and related activities. It is the largest containership operator and supply vessel operator in the world, and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, with offices in more than 130 countries around the world.
