said C.J. Paul, general manager of Omanexpo LLC, the leading organiser of trade and consumer shows in the sultanate.
First launched in 2005, Women Expo has successfully attracted thousands of visitors in its previous two editions, making it an ideal venue for companies that want to promote their products and services for women. Paul explained that the exhibition gives these companies an excellent opportunity to prominently display what they offer to their target customers.
Thus far, among the leading companies in Oman that have already confirmed their participation at Women Expo 2007 are Al Nahda Resort & Spa, Jotun Paints, The Body Shop, Muscat College, National Tea Co. LLC and Zainal Baqer Mohebi LLC. The event will also feature a large number of international exhibitors from countries like Cyprus, Italy, Singapore, Syria, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Thailand and the UAE.
Melwin D'Cunha, project manager of Women Expo 2007, pointed out that in addition to the exhibition, the event will also feature live demonstrations and workshops on all days of the event. Among the exciting activities to be conducted are cooking demonstrations, beauty product testing, flower arrangement demonstrations, musical performances and craft demonstrations.
'We have big plans for this year's edition of the event to make it truly relevant to all women and to ensure that they will be able to find everything they need in the exhibition,' D'Cunha said.
Women Expo 2007 is supported by the Thai Spa Association and by Al Mar'a magazine as the official publication.
