Oasis Leasing to sponsor Airline CEO of the Year Award

The award will be given to the chief executive officer of an airline in the Middle East who has made a difference in managing the business operations of the company. The winner will be announced and the award presented during a gala dinner attended by over 250 leading aviation and industry professionals in the region.

The Aviation Business Awards Middle East is part of the Dubai Air Show being held November 11 - 15, 2007. The awards are organised by ITP Business Publishing, which publishes Aviation Business and Air Cargo Middle East and India.

Other Aviation Business Awards this year include Airline of the Year, Low Cost Carrier of the Year, Business Jet Provider of the Year, MRO Company of the Year, Inflight Services of the Year, Airport of the Year, Duty Free of the Year, Airport Security Provider of the Year, Aviation Technology Provider of the Year, Ground Handling Provider of the Year, Airport Passenger Handling of the Year, Aviation Training Academy of the Year and Aircraft Leasing and Finance Provider of the Year.

The nominations for the awards, which closed on October 4, are open to individuals, companies and organisations working in the Middle East aviation sector.

Oasis also sponsored the 5th Annual Middle East & Africa Airfinance Conference held during September 10 - 11, 2007 in Dubai.
